Dealing with four years-old children

It's not really easy to understand  four years-old children. Sometimes, they look very smart and speak like mature people. They argue like mature people do. But sometimes, they are so stubborn and annoying.

I don't really know how to deal with my daughter. I want to be a good mother, but sometimes, she makes me terribly mad. So, sometimes, I yell at her, but then I regret it so much. I am in search of a better method to educate my daughter. I hope I will find that soon.

So early in the morning

What to do, if you wake up so early in the morning? I don't know what to do now. It's about five o' clock in the morning. I am in front of my computer trying to do something important.

Actually, I am in a big dilemma. Am I going to be full-time worker or still being part-time worker like what I am doing now? I want to earn more money by my self. I want to more independent woman. To be that woman, I have to be full-time worker. But in the same time, I still feel terribly worried leaving my daughter alone with her baby sitter. I don't know what to do.

I am going to miss Bali so much

In one month I and my family are going to move to Jakarta. I am going to miss Bali so much. I am going to miss the clean and fresh air and not too crowded traffic in Bali. In fact, I have ever decided to continue living in Bali my whole life.

May be, one day, we will have the chance living in Bali. May be, I will run my own bussiness and I will still writing my novel and short stories. I hope my dreams will come true

Moving Back to Jakarta, Oh No....

One year living in Bali it is just so nice and cozy. But suddenly we must move to Jakarta again. Oh no... I can't imagine to live in terrible traffic jam Jakarta and spend most of my time in the street.

Suddenly, I have to quit from my present job at Primagama English and start looking for a new job. I also have to find a new school for my daughter, Disa, in fact, I already like her present school.

Oh no... I have to adapt to this new situation. My family have to move to Jakarta in one month. What a short notice...

Where are you in ten years?

Are you thinking about your future? What will happen to your life within ten years? I'm always thinking about that. That's way I always try not to waste my time. But it's sometimes not easy.

Now, I try to work hard writing my novel and short stories. I learn to write better by practicing more and more. I'm not the Miss "Wow", but I promise to my self that I will always work hard. I always want to be better and better writer. The process of learning never stop at all

Sunday Morning

I'm not working in an office. I spend most of my time at home. Sunday for me is not too different from other day. On this day, I am still cooking, taking care of my daughter and writing my novel. But I always make plans for my days. What to do this day and what to do another day.

I love to plan everything. I hate messy days. But I still think my daily routine is not maximal yet. I still think I am wasting my valuable time. Wil I find the way to be maximum?

Satisfaction

When are you really satisfied with your life? When will you feel happy all the time with your life? Noone can have all in their life. I have chosen to be part-time worker so at the same time I have more time for my daughter. It's a perfect choice I think because I always feel terribly worried when I leave my daughter too long.

But sometimes, I feel frustated. I feel that I am wasting my valuable time without doing anything useful. I feel I am too relax and I'm not working hard like other people do

Beginning of 2011, Full of rain in Bali

Rain falls almost everyday in Bali at the end of 2010 untill at the beginning of 2011. May be this rain will continue until the month of February. Some people believe this condition is connected to chinese new year called Imlek at the beginning of February

Rainy Season and Hot Season in Indonesia seem to be difficult to be predicted these days. Some people say it is because of the global warming. May be it is true, because the two seasons are not still on their tracks. Sometimes, the rainy season is too long, even it is raining all the year. Sometimes it is hot all the year

Now, I am getting used to the rain. When the early evening comes, the rain is also coming and begin to dance with the wind. It is also flash and thunder that makes me a bit annoyed. But It's okay, I try to enjoy them all

My Book, Senjakala

Senjakala novel is my second book. My first book is titled Lidah. Lidah is compilation of 14 short stories. I hope my second book will have good selling. I have sold 30 Senjakala books in two months to my friends all over Indonesia. That means most of readers in Indonesia love novel more than short stories.

Lily is the main character of Senjakala novel. She was a young and idealis journalist. She moved to Bali and found a lot of mysterious things there. A 11 years old boy was dissapeared without any clues. And her sister fell so distraught of the lost. Lily then met Cakra, a balinese famous sculptor. They began to love each other.

Writing is celebration

Being a writer is not quite easy. Sometimes I think this job doesn't have any future. This job doesn't give much money. Sometimes I feel a bit desperate. The book market is really mysterious. What kind of book will become best seller in the book stores? Noone can really predict that.

Now, I promise to my self to stop thinking about the result of writing, but celebrate its process. Some people even say writing is a kind of therapy. So, I write novels, short stories and so on and enjoy every single process. I am sure I will write good novel and short stories and I hope that readers will love them

Comparing Bali with Jakarta

After living for seven years in Jakarta, I moved to Bali about one year ago. I came back to my home town. It was fun, of course, because I would met with my family here, in Bali.

Now, It's almost a year I'm in Bali. Life is just much easier here. I drive my car to book shop, to supermarket, to Disa's school and to my office, Primagama English. It's really fun to have the ability exploring the city by yourself. I don't have to wait until weekend to go whereever I want. I don't have to deal with a terrible traffic jam like I was always facing in Jakarta. I want to live here in Bali, in Denpasar, exactly, much much longer and even my whole life. Here, I can easily visit my mother and my father and hang out with my sibling dan his children. Disa look so happy too to hang out with them. I wish I will live here forever
